'Umanoove' is all about exploring and discovering. Developing a theatrical and movement language, collaborate closely with different art forms, work with dancers specifically for each production, avoid to many compromises and create work that is touching, engaging, physical, theatrical, humorous and accessible. Umanoove is interested in performing their work in theatres, site specific places, museums and always connect on a visceral level with their audiences. They insist on working with highly trained dancers, pushing their boundaries and challenging them to explore each detail. Creating a generous and honest atmosphere in the studio so as to facilitate personal creativity.

Umanoove finished touring their new production 'The Knot' throughout the UK, Jersey and Copenhagen. They worked on some Research and Development at DanceEast in Ipswich in May 2019 for a new work called @HOME with two dancers and composer Sabio Janiak. All this is made possible with support from ACE and DanceEast. Umanoove has been selected to pitch their new work at Surf the Wave in Bournemouth in May 2019.

Umanoove is supported by Studio Wayne McGregor through the FreeSpace programme, The Linbury Trust, an anonymous donor,Beth Krasna, DanceEast, South East Dance and The Master Charitable Trust-The Marina Kleinwort Trust.
