In addition, all of the company dancers are also skilled dance teachers and facilitators and have all been trained in delivering Humanoove activity

One off Workshops

We can offer one-off workshops to groups based on contemporary technique, inspired by the themes of our shows or in creating and devising choreography.

We have delivered sessions to young people, teenagers, private dance schools, youth dance groups, school groups, performance companies or groups of older dancers. Workshops can be bespoke and tailored to meet the requirements of your group.

EDUCATION PROJECTS

We also love working with groups of people for a more extended period of time to create something really exciting together.

Previously we have re-staged a full-length version of The Knot for graduating students from the DanceEast CAT and Didy is currently Programme Director for the Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Summer School.

We can tailor-make learning projects with you to meet your requirements, please get in touch if you would like to discuss any Education project ideas with us.

Digital PROJECTS

In the strange times of COVID19, we have had to think proactively and innovatively about how dance can be taught and shared.

Didy is currently working with the Royal Ballet School and five other international ballet schools to create a creative, socially distanced dance response to the lockdown situation.

Together with the BalletBoyz, a movie called ‘A Screen Apart’ is being created with the footage and will be launched on July 7 during World Ballet School Day.

Didy has also created a new virtual work called ‘Not so Strictly’ for the English National Ballet School which will have its premiere on 11 July.

She will be teaching contemporary classes at the Royal Ballet Summer School and for 3 weeks starting 13 July she will be working as Program Director of the Contemporary Program at the Jacob’s Pillow School.
